LVT for Surgery at Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Scarborough ME.

Candidate should be licensed in Maine and have at least two years of Veterinary experience as an LVT or Assistant prior to licensure. Able to work a Wednesday – Saturday schedule, including staying late for emergencies. Perform pre-surgical diagnostic lab tests, assist Surgeon during surgeries, Proficient with radiographs and laboratory analyses. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be proficient in Anesthetic induction, monitoring, maintenance and recovery.

Client Services Specialist, Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Scarborough ME.

MVMC is currently seeking Client Specialist to support our busy office in Scarborough, ME. Flexible 3 or 4 day/week schedules to include nights, weekends and holidays.
The role of the Client Services Specialist partners with our current Client Specialist team to help with the flow of appointments in our busy emergency and specialty veterinary practice. Additionally, this position is a liaison between the front desk, clients, and various departments.

Key Responsibilities Include:
· Providing day-to-day client services of the front office and support of staff throughout the hospital.
· Direct on-the-job training to develop employee skill sets.
· Making decisions on behalf of the department utilizing good judgment, which demonstrates the best interest of the hospital and the clients.
· Handling communication of financial information to clients and doctors.

Patient Care Coordinator (FT/PT) at Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Scarborough ME.

Candidate should be licensed in Maine and have at least three years of Veterinary experience as an LVT. Must have knowledge of Veterinary Specialty Services and a proficiency in all medical terminology as it relates to veterinary medicine. Ability to work a weekend daily schedule. Have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as attention to detail a must. Able to handle stressful and emergent situations in a calm and supportive manner. Candidate should have a willingness to learn and complete training as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities. Must have a strong client services background. LVT for ER (FT/PT/PER DIEM) at Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Scarborough ME.

Candidate should be licensed in Maine and have at least two years of Veterinary experience as an LVT or Assistant prior to licensure. Able to work a flexible schedule in our fast-paced 365-day 24/7 ER. LVT is either assigned as primary nurse in intensive care or triage nurse on an outpatient basis. Both have very different roles but work together to execute the highest standard of care. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Will train the right candidate. LVT for Ophthalmology at Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Scarborough ME.

Candidate should be licensed in Maine and have at least two years of Veterinary experience as an LVT or Assistant prior to licensure. Ophthalmic experience would be ideal, will train the right candidate. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including staying late for emergencies with some weekend call-in(s). Able to handle stressful and emergent situations in a calm and supportive manner. Excellent communication and customer service skills a must. Should be proficient in Anesthetic induction, monitoring, maintenance (including mechanical ventilation) and recovery.

Veterinary Technician Assistant (FT/PT/PER DIEM) at Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Scarborough ME.

Candidate should have above average communication and technical skills as well as customer service skills. Certification is highly preferred. We will only consider individuals that display compassion, understanding and superior care for our patients and will work above and beyond towards achieving positive outcomes. We have a full or part-time shift opening to include nights, weekends and holidays. Attention to detail a must. Able to handle stressful and emergent situations in a calm and supportive manner.
