1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Maine Veterinary Medical Center understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and it will allow you to break down your payment into 6 or 12 monthly installments, depending on the plan you select. As with most zero interest credit options, interest is deferred, meaning once the promotional period ends, interest accrues from the day that the charge was made. More simply stated, if the full charge has not been repaid within the 6 or 12 month window interest fees are added.
You can apply at our hospital, where we'll submit your application for immediate approval, or apply online at home at: www.CareCredit.com.
