*** We are so excited to announce a concrete schedule for the arrival of MVMC’s new MRI unit! On April 15th our current MRI will be dismantled, and on the 16th the new unit will arrive. Our team will be working hard to transition swiftly and successfully over the weeks to come. Please call ahead if you are a veterinarian referring a patient to our neurology team or an owner bringing your own pet in for neurologic evaluation. We will be assessing the availability of advanced imaging in real time; on a case-by-case basis. ***

Veterinary Oncology

The oncology team at MVMC is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of various cancer types. Our three board-certified oncologists have extensive knowledge in the diagnosis of cancer, the staging of tumors, the development of treatment plans, and the administration of chemotherapy. Treatment plans may include one or more of the following options: surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and immunotherapy. Our oncology team has many options to help keep your pet comfortable while they are being treated. From pain management options to special nutritional recommendations to medications that can help lessen nausea associated with chemotherapy, veterinary oncologists can keep most pets very comfortable during the course of their therapy. At MVMC, our oncologists’ goal is for your pet to live a normal life while being treated for cancer.
